Yeah when you mentioned core muscle work, that’s a really good idea. I had a problem with my back (not due to weight loss, but still back pain). I was/am a runner, and had taken a big break from running. When I started back up again I had major pain in my back which was enough to? prevent me from running. I had stretched my sciatic nerve while running because my core wasn’t strong enough. Core work definitely sounds like a good idea for you!

Your back is like what’s going on I’m used to holding 550 pounds then u lost weight and it dose not know how to respond? so I would go to the doctor- chiropractor and see how to make it adapt.best of luck

Boogie, the reason you are getting back pains is because you weigh 500lbs and constantly slouch while sitting down. I know its hard when you weigh that much while sitting but try straightening your back every so? often, it works.

as for your back, it might be “Lordosis”. you’re losing the pull from all the belly fat so your back is having to re-align.

READ THIS BOOGIE!!!
Don’t take Tylenol, Aspirin, and Ibuprofen at the same time. The? different drugs combined can cause liver damage. Just take 2 Tylenol every 4 hours, much safer.

@boogiedown550 This is very common when you are losing weight. I know when I dropped 20 pounds that I had amazing amounts of lower back pain for a whole month. But I still kept pushing and if anything my back is now stronger. You should do some planks (where you are holding yourself in a push-up position with your elbow and palm flat on the ground, and stay still in that position for 10-30 second intervals with 2-3 reps.) when the pain gets really bad, it helped me. May the? Force be with you!!!

you should start to eat more fruits/veggies and use less much-vitamins.
Also your back pains? means you are losing a lot of weight too quickly most likely water weigh.
You can get more muscle gain with swimming or stretching to relive your back pain.

In Canada, we have a hotline called telehealth, that you can call to speak with a nurse about a situation, and they can recommend a solution or? that you see a doctor. Do you have anything like that there? It would be better than relying on advice from google, if you do, but you might still be able to avoid the expense of a doctor visit.
